    The ETMM Race Team had a good turnout for the Sugar Mountain Race January 9th and 10th. There were 15 racers on Saturday and 16 on Sunday, and all who participated made a contribution to the team's success. After Saturday's two race runs we were tied with Knoxville for 2nd place and 3 points behind Asheville in the Western Division.  On Sunday we pulled out all the stops and erased that 3 point deficit and moved into a 1st place tie with Asheville!

    As an added bonus Stein Hals, Paul Lewis, and Hilary Martin qualified in flight 22 and received their Crescent Racer pin for their efforts. Now they are eligible to participate in any or all upcoming Crescent Ski Council races. Congratulations to them all!
