Captain for a Day & Lake Party – July 23, 2010
Hello Fellow Mogul Mashers:
Friday July 23rd 2010, will be our annual "Captain for a Day". For those of
you who are not familiar with this event, it's a fun filled day of laughs and
giving of ourselves to this worthwhile project. We will take the Dawn of Hope
residents of Johnson City, to Boone Lake for a boat ride and picnic. The Dawn of
Hope residents are mentally and physically handicapped adults.
If you have a pontoon boat or just want to go along and help please email
me at
betpearce@comcast.net or call my cell 276-608-2977. (Please leave your cell
number). In case of rain the event will be cancelled. We will meet at Sonny's
Marina at 9:15 a.m. The residents should arrive around 9:45 a.m. We will
spend an hour and a half to two hours on the lake and then go to the
Bays/Stevens dock for a picnic. The residents will leave from there to go back
to the Dawn of Hope. If you have any questions please let me know.
On that same Friday evening after "Captain for a Day", will be our
club's lake party, held at the Bays/Stevens dock. BBQ will be served. Bring a
covered dish. I will send more information at a later date. Thank you, and hope
